Registration
The Longhorns Swim Camp offers two convenient ways to register for the 2009 camp sessions.
1) The fastest way to register is thru our online registration system. Please click the "Register Online" link to get started.
2) You can also register by mailing the registration form along with a check or money order, or fax the form along with a credit card for the $150 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. Please see our notes below about registration.
Balance of camp fees are due by a May 1, 2009 postmark. Fees received after May 1 will be charged a $25 late fee. Applications received after May 1 must be submitted with all fees, made payable by cashiers check, money order or credit card, and are accepted on a space-available basis only. Camp space is available on a first come, first served basis. Camp fees not received by May 15 will forfeit camp space.
Enrollment is on a first come, first-served basis. Camp Space is not guaranteed until the registration form (paper or online), full payment, and required forms are received. Payments can be made in the form of check, money order, cashier's check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. If you wish to pay by credit card please use our online registration system.
If you have any trouble using the online system please let us know so we may resolve the issue. You may also download a REGISTRATION FORM and mail or fax it to the camp.

About the on-line registration process:
Previous campers (2008)
Your account is still active and may be used to register for 2009 sessions. Please do not create a new account unless you cannot remember your username from 2008. You can e-mail the camp at longhornswimcamp@athletics.utexas.edu and request your username from the 2008 camp. If you cannot remember your password, use the help links located on the registration log in screen.
Once you have successfully logged in, you may choose to register the same camper from 2008, and update your account/camper information.
First-time users
Be sure to click on "Register Online as a New User" under "First Time Users" after going into the online system, and proceed from there.
All Users
After completing the online registration form, you will also have the option to add additional camp services and/or camp merchandise to your cart. If you aren't sure about these - don't worry - you can always go back later and add them.
The Longhorns Swim Camp accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Diner's Club for online payment. Payment is due in full by a May 1, 2009 postmark. Payments received after May 1 will be charged a $25 late fee. Camp fees not received by May 15 will forfeit camp space. Applications received after May 1 must be submitted with payment in full, payable by cashiers check, money order or credit card, and will be accepted on a space-available basis.
Upon receipt of the completed online registration form and a $150 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit per session, an online account will be created.
You will receive two e-mails from the camp:
1) Instructions on how to access your online account, including your username and password. Passwords are randomly created, and you will need to reset it once your account is created by following the instructions in the account set-up e-mail.
2) A confirmation e-mail with important camp information, camper name, sessions attending, camp options purchased, and balance.
You will be able to log into your account using the login and password created for you. This will allow you to update your contact and billing information, make additional payments, add additional camp services, and purchase great Texas Swimming gear!
Please note that some fields require information in a certain format:
Birthdate: must be entered in mm/dd/yyyy format. For example, May 15, 1990 must be entered as 05/15/1990
100 yard Free time: must be entered in a digital clock format: 1:05.49, 0:48.90 (note the zero before the colon if the time is under 1:00.00)
Campers who do not register on-line but thru mail or fax will have an online account account created for them that will allow them to update their information as needed, and conduct online transactions. Account usernames and passwords will be e-mailed, along with a confirmation e-mail from the camp once the registration form and payment is processed. You will also receive an e-mail with instructions on how to reset your password.
Registered campers may go into your account at anytime using your username and password to make changes as needed (contact info, 100-yard free time updates, e-mail / phone changes, roommate requests, etc.), make payments, add additional services (airport transportation, etc.) and purchase camp gear!
Remember: you are responsible for keeping your contact and camper information current.
Be sure your e-mail address is correct, and that you have enabled any spam/junk e-mail blockers to accept e-mails from longhornswimcamp@athletics.utexas.edu. You will receive confirmation e-mails and statements, as well as any future news or updates regarding camp sessions thru e-mail.
If you need to change your session or request a refund, you will need to contact the camp directly.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE VIA MAIL/FAX
If you prefer to register via U.S. mail or fax, you will need to download, print, and return a REGISTRATION FORM. If you are unable to download the forms, please call 512-475-8652 or e-mail longhornswimcamp@athletics.utexas.edu. We can e-mail, fax, or mail forms to you.

PLEASE NOTE:
Our bank is in San Antonio. Camp is held on the UT - Austin campus.
Session Availability may be found HERE. Each session is limited to 170 campers.
REGARDING CAMP MERCHANDISE and OPTIONAL SERVICES:
Camp merchandise (t-shirts, caps, towels, etc.) may be ordered during registration (either online or included on the registration form), added to your account at anytime, or during final payment of camp fees (online or paper forms).
Camp merchandise will NOT be available at camp for purchase.
There are NO REFUNDS on camp merchandise after May 1, 2009. Campers who cancel after May 1 will have their merchandise shipped to them starting July 6, 2009.
Optional services such as locker rentals, airport transportation, and extra housing nights/weekends may be added at anytime.
If registering by mail/fax, you MUST pay for merchandise/optional services at the time of registration, or your merchandise/service will not be ordered.
There are a few important modifications to our camp schedule - please read carefully:
*SECOND SESSION EXCEPTION: FRIDAY, JUNE 12: Due to the Texas Senior Circuit Championships at the Texas Swimming Center, the Camp will swim from 6-8 A.M. Overnight campers should be ready to be picked up between 9:30-10a.m. at Dobie Center. Day campers will be ready to be picked up from the pool shortly after 8 a.m. Outbound flights may be scheduled anytime, but no later than 5:00 p.m. if possible
*THIRD SESSION EXCEPTION: SUNDAY, JUNE 14: Due to the Texas Senior Circuit Championships at the Texas Swimming Center, the Camp will not swim on Sunday evening, but will watch finals of the meet! This should be a great opportunity to watch some fast swimming!
We apologize for this inconvenience, but the Camp must sometimes work around the event schedule of the Jamail Texas Swimming Center. Please contact the camp director with any questions.
CAMP FORMS
All forms are in PDF format. Adobe Reader is required to open and print forms. You can download it for free from Adobe.com.
PLEASE RETURN ALL REQUIRED FORMS AT ONE TIME - DO NOT SEND FORMS INDIVIDUALLY. PLEASE DO NOT FAX REQUIRED MEDICAL FORMS.
Be sure all forms are COMPLETE and SIGNED. Campers must also sign forms where requested (even if they are a minor). The "Release and Indemnification Agreement" must be signed by both a parent/guardian AND a witness.
If your camper’s medical forms are not complete and on file, they will not be allowed to participate in camp activities, and will not be allowed to check in to camp. This is a University of Texas mandate, not just camp policy.

Waitlists closed as of 2/16/09.
Our camp typically sells out fast, but we sometimes have cancellations. We understand that summer plans are made well in advance, but if your schedule is flexible, wait listing may be an option for you.
You may request to be wait listed for a session by:
1) Submitting a registration form to the camp. No deposit or credit card information is required. Forms may be faxed to 512-475-8739.
2) Mark the session(s) you would like to be wait listed for in order of preference. Write "Wait list" on the form, and how long you'd like to be on the list.
3) If space becomes available, you will be contacted by E-MAIL to accept or decline the opening. Please be sure to provide an e-mail address that is checked frequently.
4) There is no guarantee that space will become available, or when it will happen. Cancellations can happen months in advance or the day before a session begins.
5) If space does not become available, your e-mail address will be added to the e-mail distribution list for the next camp. If your e-mail changes, please notify the Camp.
