Step One: Choose your session
Returning and new campers will start by choosing their session(s) along with any options they may need (airport ground transportation, locker rental, pizza orders).
Previous campers/users (2016-present) We have transitioned to a new registration platform with Active.com, and your previous camp account will no longer work with this. When you register for the first time under the new system, a new account will be created for you at the end of registration, unless you alreasdy have an Active.com account.
First-time users Your account will be created for you at the end of registration.
Step Two: Fill out Form
Complete the online Registration Form. Please note that some fields require information in a certain format: Birthdate: must be entered in mm/dd/yyyy format. For example, May 15, 1990 must be entered as 05/15/1990. 100 yard Free time: must be entered in a digital clock format: 1:05.49, 0:48.90 (note the zero before the colon if the time is under 1:00.00). We highly recommend adding a second Parent/Guardian in the registration form.
Step Three: Choose Additional Services
After completing the online registration form, you also have the option to add additional camp services and/or camp merchandise to your cart. If you aren't sure about these, don't worry. You can always log in later and add them. Camp Gear is not available for purchase at camp, only through registration.
Step Four: Payment of Deposit
There is a $175 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit required per session. The Longhorns Swim Camp accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Diner's Club for online payment. You must pay at least the $175 non-refundable deposit for each session you are attending. Any additional services or camp gear must also be paid for at this time.
Step Five: Manage Your Account & Make Payments
Upon receipt of the completed online registration form and a $175 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit per session, an online account is created.
You receive two e-mails from the camp:
Email 1) Instructions on how to access your online account from Active.com, including your username and password. Passwords are randomly created, and you need to reset it once your account is created by following the instructions in the account set-up e-mail.
Email 2) A confirmation e-mail with important camp information, camper name, sessions attending, camp options purchased, and balance. Please note that the Camp Information and Required Forms Packets will be E-MAILED to you in January of 2016.
You or your registered camper is able to log into your account using the login and password created for you. This allows you to update your contact and billing information, make additional payments, add additional camp services (airport transportation, etc.), update the 100-yard freestyle time, make e-mail / phone changes, request a roommate, etc.
Payment is due in full by a May 1, 2017 postmark. Payments received after May 1 will be charged a $25 late fee. Camp fees not received by May 5, 2017 result in forfeiture of camp space. Applications received after May 1 must be submitted with payment in full, payable by cashier’s check, money order or credit card, and are accepted on a space-available basis.
Remember: you are responsible for keeping your contact and camper information current.
Be sure your e-mail address is correct, and enable any spam/junk e-mail blockers to accept e-mails from email@example.com. You will receive confirmation e-mails and statements, as well as any future news or updates regarding camp sessions thru e-mail.
*If you need to change your session or request a refund, you'll need to contact the camp in writing.
Step 6: Medical Forms
These forms are REQUIRED for participation in camp and must be on file. Every camper must have a physical dated within 14 MONTHS of the first day of their session. Required medical forms are due by May 5, 2017. Required Medical Forms will be sent with your session confirmation e-mail. They will also be available on the website for download. REGARDING CAMP MERCHANDISE and OPTIONAL SERVICES: Camp merchandise (t-shirts, caps, towels, etc.) may be ordered during registration (either online or included on the registration form), added to your account at anytime, or during final payment of camp fees (online or paper forms).
Camp merchandise will NOT be available at camp for purchase.
There are NO REFUNDS on camp merchandise after May 1, 2017. Campers who cancel after May 1 will have their merchandise shipped to them starting July, 2017.
Optional services such as locker rentals, airport transportation, and extra housing nights/weekends may be added at anytime.
